Trans-length Compartments

Trans-length compartments are fabricated into each side of the steel structure. They run the length of the bed, directly behind the BATROPS crosswalk to the rear bumper. Depending on which type of Minuteman is chosen, the compartments will have either one or two swing-up doors. The compartment doors are fabricated from aluminum sheet with inner ribbing for superior strength and painted to match the body. The compartment floors are designed for easy sweep-out capability and covered with Turtile Tile style matting. The compartment interiors are painted with spatter type paint. A LED door open indicator is mounted on the dash to warn the driver of an open door.
